Wellesley Public Schools pluck head of technology from Hopkinton

Kathleen Dooley, director of technologyKathleen Dooley, currently director of technology in the Hopkinton Public School system, has been named director of technology for the Wellesley Public Schools effective July 1.
Before joining Hopkinton’s tech team in 2008, Dooley was head of technology for Holliston’s school system. She has also worked as a software consultant.
[Wellesley school administrators, most notably Wellesley High Principal Andrew Keough, are quite familiar with Hopkinton's school system. Keough used to work in it and was a finalist for superintendent there earlier this year.]

She’ll have her hands full in Wellesley, which is boosting the schools’ technology, including use of Apple iPads, an advanced telephony system and more.

Wellesley’s current head of tech, Rob Ford, is headed to the Lincoln school system to be closer to home.
